Before and After School Care
Our Before and After School Care program offers pick-up and drop-off services to École Inman Elementary School.
We offer homework assistance for all of our attending before and afterschool care children.
We provide a healthy afternoon snack everyday for all the Before and Afterschool Care children.
We provide field trips and hot lunch on all Pro-D-Days.
We ensure that all children are getting the required amount of physical activity by taking them outside for walks and to the playground at École Inman Elementary.
As a centre that provides Before and After School Care for children we believe the atmosphere should we welcoming, fun, safe and a place where the children feel that they have a teacher to work with that is supportive of the child’s self-esteem, trust and independence. We believe that the child’s needs, interests and individual personalities are what shape our program and activities.
Before and After School Cancellation Policy
The Before and After School Program will operate with the Burnaby District School.
Our Before and After School Program is open on all Pro-D days, over the March Break, Christmas Break (please check for closure dates at the centre), and Summer Break. Little Einstein Children’s Centre is closed on all statutory holidays.
Preschool Classes
Our morning Pre-school class runs from 9:15am-11:40am and the afternoon Pre-school class runs from 12:15pm-2:40pm.
Our Preschool program allows us to work with your child to build social, emotional and intellectual stimulation through concept building, sensory stimulation, creative program solving and development of self help skills.
We offer a great phonics program which includes numbers, letters, concepts, shapes, art, math, science, reading, music and movement, and much more.
Our Preschool Teachers provide a weekly update to keep the parents informed as to how their child is doing and progressing.
Pre-School Closure Days
The Preschool Program will operate with the Burnaby District School.
WHEN THERE IS NO SCHOOL, THERE WILL BE NO PRESCHOOL.
Preschool will not be offered on Pro-D days, over the March Break, Christmas Break, Summer Break and all Statutory. There will be no Preschool Program if school is canceled due to the weather. Please listen to your local radio station to see if there is school on snow days or in any case of disastrous weather. If schools are closed in the Burnaby School Board, then there will be no Preschool. No make-up classes will be provided as all spaces are limited to children that are enrolled in our Preschool Program.
Summer Camp
We understand the need for a safe and reliable child care program for children through out the year, not just before and afterschool but also in the summer months. Our centre recognizes the importance and need for these programs which we offer during the months of July and August within our Summer Camp.
Our program offers a diverse range of exciting activities including, sports, science projects, outdoor activities and games, field trips to various places, and numerous other activities to keep children engaged and entertained throughout the day.
We offer a great summer camp program which provides a number of field trips and activities that are safe, developmentally appropriate and most of all fun!
Our Summer Camp is available for children ages 5-12 years of age.
Summer Camp Closures:
Our Summer Camp is offered 5 days a week from 7:30am to 6:00pm and is closed on all statutory holidays.
